Ilkal saree is a traditional form of saree from the town of Ilkal in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka state, India. It has been accorded Geographical Indication (GI) tag and the traditional way of weaving is on the decline and in its last leg. There are only 4-5 families left in Ilkal who practise it.
